Care and Maintenance

Sustainable luxury vegetable tanned leather does get better with age, but even more so if you take care of it! The most important first step is keeping leather clean and free from dirt and dust. This can be accomplished with a damp cloth and by storing your bag in the provided dust bag.

Smith’s leather balm from Maine is useful to restore and protect vegetable tanned leather. The combination organic cocoa butter, organic beeswax and pure almond oil, help nourish the leather and the beeswax acts as a natural sealer, making leather water resistant.

Chamberlin’s Leather Milk is a fabulous leather cleaner. Their products are made in Texas with natural and non-toxic ingredients. This cleaner is great to help remove water spots and clean up your leather as needed.

Warranty

I am committed to the quality and durability of my work, offering repair services for any structural issues that fall within my scope of responsibility. My bags are meticulously crafted with minimal seams and are saddle stitched by hand to enhance their strength and longevity. In the event of a structural failure, I kindly request that clients cover the shipping costs to and from my workshop. Rest assured, I will manage all other aspects of the repair. Please note, however, that my ability to assume responsibility for repairs may be compromised if the bag has been altered or repaired by third parties.
